This is really neat. It's hard to imagine that was just found like this, because the patterns in here are so regular, but sometimes Nature is like that.
There is a nice calm feel to this for me. I kinda had to look at it for a bit, to see exactly what it is, and it has a feeling of quiet mystery. Nicely found and done.

Those rocks seem to glow in the darkness. It's as though someone open a chest of treasure for all to see.

Ian, the colors in the stones and the shape similarity in the bedrock is very striking. The dark, abstract wall behind makes a fine background that complements the stones well even as it lets them remain the focus. As I type this, the scroll has clipped most of the wall, leaving only the stones and the glowing strip along the base of the wall. This alternative view also works very well.

Great textures, lines, colors and light. This is very unique and interesting. I could see this as a large fine art print.

Just beautiful! I like the hint of green in the foreground and the interesting line around the back wall. The foreground rocks contrast wonderfully, with so many shapes and colors. Plus leading lines!

The pastels against the mossy greens and golds is nicely striking,

This is just stunning Ian! Splendid color and light. The green seaweed on the back wall makes for a wonderful backdrop.

"Stunning" as Eva comments sums it up quite nicely. Just curious; I assume this is tidal affected. Are you able to safely obtain an image of the water flowing into and/or out of this beautiful cave? Slow shutter?

Thank you everyone. The Moray coast has a lot of unique little sea caves like this one and it is renowned for its multi-coloured stones. Yes the tide rushes up these little gullies and so water flow through the rocks is entirely practical to capture. They are tragically slippery though as those rounded surfaces are pretty much like an ice rink it took me around 20 minutes to cover 30m.

This is really spectacular Ian. I love everything about it -- the design and the rendition of colors and tones. Just perfect!.
Viewing a large print of this must be quite an experience.

Fantastic abstract Ian, apart from the vivid array of colours the composition which leads the eye in is supremely effective.
