Well, you've put me in a spot. I wrote how much I liked the murky sky and water in your previous image but now you present the same subject with a clear sharp sky and water that I like just as much. I suppose there is no reason to not like both equally. I suppose it's the lighter clouds on the right side that add so much to the composition. The fact that they don't run horizontally like most such comps, but diagonally. And they envelop those submerged rocks just perfectly.

Love the processing. Has a really nice 'glow" to it, especially the clouds.

Another beautiful look at this locale. This is similar to the prior yet so different. The other one was all about the shades of light on the rock and the contrasting sky and this is about the sky and reflection of it. No favorite here, I really like both.

The changed lighting in the clouds (at it's reflection) are very intriguing, Gary, and very well positioned. As a self professed symmetry nut (and my wife agrees heartily, ), I like your previous post better, but this looks like things "could get really interesting", so I'm looking forward to where this series goes. Specifically, I find this view to be heavy on the right with the glowing lines in the clouds and their reflection grabbing most of my attention. Having said that, I'm thinking that a crop to 4x5 entirely from the left with a bit of edge burning would look good.

What a nice "shimmer" this has to it.
Excellent Processing, and a nice anchor at the bottom of the image.

This is lovely and still, with such nice reflections and submerged rocks in the foreground. I find the left side of the image much less interesting, though, and it would be fun to play with a slight crop.

This image really works well in B&W. I like the way the clouds and the reflection lead the eye right into the image.

Gary, this is a very fitting addition to your series. Although the main scene is the same as the one shown in "Semblance" there is enough difference to make both images interesting. Actually, I find this works best when seen side by side. The light in the sky (and its reflection) have been very well captured and portayed here.
I look forward to seeing more images from this series.

Stunning B&W here, Gary. I'm always amazed by the amount of water in the state of Utah for as arid as the region really is. A very fine image all around......
