This was taken yesterday morning when the birds were fairly cooperative.  I like the pose and perch on this one.  The light was just starting to get somewhat harsh around 8:30 AM when this was taken.  The crop is a little tight.  This was taken in landscape mode; I wasn't fast enough to open it up to portrait mode.

Excellent detail, David.  I like the head turn and the perch and background are great.

Excellent shot, David.  Wonderful detail in the bird and wonderful perch as well, against a nice background.  That head turn really is a nice plus.

Hi David,

The tight comp does not bother me.  Large view is very detailed and pose is excellent. I'd say that this one is a keeper. Well done.................Jim
