Well of Lecht, Grampians, Scotland

The old Lecht Lead Mill spotlighted by the afternoon Spring sunlight looks like it's only just got itself out of bed.  I seem to have caught it in mid yawn nestled as it is between the comforting blanket of heather, grasses and gorse respendent in their warm golden ochre hues.

Wonderful spotlighting and classic rule of thirds comp. The roadway and bridge make this complete. Nice work, Ian.

This is a cool comp with the valley leading to the mill and the sunlight highlighting it at the top.  My eyes go right up the valley.

Really nice composition Ian.  I hadn't really noticed the human looking element of the old mill until you mentioned the yawn. Now I can't see it without the face in the building.
