It has been quite awhile since I put up a new picture so thought maybe it was time. Getting a bit older all the time...
I did this picture just the other day while I was on a long hike through the Wisconsin River Bottoms which is an area I love to shoot in. I had my tripod set up for a shot so decided to do another one where I could walk out into the picture with the timer set at 10 seconds. On this day last week I hiked farther into the river bottoms that I had ever been before. It was great! Cheers!

Looks like a fun place to explore, Nick.  I always enjoy your views of our world.

Hi Nick,

Obviously the calm before the storm, how much of the white stuff did you get up your way this weekend? devil

Hi Mark and John, Thanks! I enjoy seeing work from you guys too.
John, We kind of lucked out right where I'm at with only around 4-5 inches. From here going north they got more and more. I foot to 2 feet from Green Bay and north. I like the snow but pretty much ready for spring now...cool  Going to head to the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness Area in Upper Michigan for a Spring shoot but that won't be until late May or June!

Great shot Nick. This is consistent with many of your misty, moody shots.  Love them, keep 'em coming.
