Probably my favorite hike while in Capital Reef NP this past fall was down Pleasant Creek, though I'm sure I missed many great hikes due to the short time I was there.  In the shadows, sunlit walls and a blue sky were reflected vibrantly in this section of the creek.  I adjusted my perspective to get the most colorful reflection. This shallow section of the creek flowed over undulating sandstone which accounted for the interesting pattern in the water.

A lovely glowing pink/blue abstract, Harry.  The area of fine ripples creates some intriguing contrast.

Great catch on this one, Harry. The color combination of warm and cool tones works beautifully as does all the diagonals in this landscape. This makes for a very interesting abstract.

Harry, This is a very cool image and I quite enjoyed looking at the large version. Wonderful light, colors and I love the texture of the water. Really nice job making this water abstract. I guess things are kind of slow right now on NPN because I would have thought this would have quite a few more comments.

Harry: I love opportunities like this and you did a fine job both seeing and capturing the scene. Most excellent.>=))>

This is outstanding, Harry!  I like the color as well as the contours and texture in the water.  Simply beautiful!
