Nice shot, Ed. Looks like a pretty calm, peaceful morning. How did you miss that dust spec right smack in the middle of the sky? That's something I usually fail to notice in my skies. There's a couple more small ones and three white specs, don't think they're stars, although I guess they could be.

Ed, This is a classy thing to do: getting a shot of a sister photog hard at work. I know Maine ... and the challenges of finding a safe place near the water are substantial ... consider Bass Harbor: you take your life in your hands climbing out on those rocks not to mention the tide. Not just a good exposure but this is also a good commentary on people who love what they do ... and do it well. Thanks for sharing yours. Dave Harwood

Ed, What a cool looking image. I like the darkness of it and in the large version it is really interesting how you captured the photographer and light. I like it!

Thanks for your thoughts, Mike, Dave and Nick; always appreciated.
Mike: I never noticed it until you spotted it for me. I think the three white spots are stars as this was taken about 45 minutes before sunrise. I thought about cloning them out but decided not to.
