We are in that time of year again when we get a lot of foggy mornings (the Wisconsin River Valley is know for it's fog anyway) so I quite often head out early to see what I can find to make a picture of. This one is a driveway that goes back to a home in the pines not far from my home. I was just enjoying the conditions and decided to make a couple of shots here.I always enjoy the fog and early morning light. Thanks for looking and any thoughts. Larger version included for much better view.

Wonderful peaceful and serene morning from this POV, Nick. Looks like a neat place to have a homestead back there in the off of the beaten path area. I really like the mystery of the fogged in look. The lining trees and pine needles? along the route add to the scene nicely.
Although I will say the roadbed reminds me of our pavement needs in many areas of our own town here in SoCal......laugh

The panoramic view seems to emphasize all those verticals very well. The fog of course makes the shot.

This is so nice Nick. Invitation to go for a stroll, but watch your steps... The fog and the verticals of the trees really make this one.

Congrats on the EP, Nick!

Your images of paths like this one always invited me to walk into the scene. Beautiful work for me.

Peter

Walking up to the home on Halloween night must be eerie for the youngsters. I like the mood the fog brings and how the orange helps define the driveway.
