Really cool. Reminds me of a dragon.

Another fine, abstract, Gary. The strong tonal contrast emphasizes the pattern and texture in the sand formations. I kind of see a Chinese dragon with the head at the top and the long body weaving back and forth through the frame.

Gorgeous abstract, Gary. It took me a while to understand what it really was and this is definitely a good feature.

Gary, I like this in that it has a serpentine sense of motion, and the mounds/ripples are raised above a flatter base to give more contrast in tone and texture. Of the two images, preference goes to this one.

Another interesting tidal abstract, Gary. Like a couple others, this looked to me like a dragon. Well seen and imaged.

Fabulous image, Gary. I love the zig zags and textures. I lose the sense of scale, which--in my mind--is not a bad thing, and here, I can't tell whether the raised part of the scene is inches or miles above the surrounding plane. Very pleasing to view.

Gary, This is really nice work! Very interesting to look at and it sure does make one think of a dragon as mentioned. I see these sand patterns along the Wisconsin River when the water is low and have always found them so interesting. Never got something this nice however. Excellent b&w work my friend!

Wonderful black and white abstract, which is not so easy to do in my experience. Love the textures, the design, the lack of scale. Could almost be an aerial shot looking down on some very lumpy islands! Very unique ocean shot.

Another truly stunning B&W here, Gary. Your work on these recent scenes provide excellent depth and overall 3D look and feeling to me. Heck, even the weaving composition adds some real intrigue overall too.
Just super.......

This has some wonderful bold graphic lines and the sidelighting has created some beautiful textures and details which really shine in the large version, Gary. Great eye to spot this amazing abstract. Nice range of tones here BTW.

I'm really enjoying your take of the coast. I'm confident I would have trudged right past this and not seen the image within. The patterns you caught, and the lighting you've brought out, make a nice abstract. With that said, I prefer the prior post; it has a wierdness to it that is really eye-catching.

Stunning photograph ... intriguing and beautiful. The patterns are so well lit and I love the surrounding darkness.
Your B&W work is a real treat to see here.
