Eva, A beautiful natural feel to this image. I love the light and conditions you found here on this morning. The combination of mountains and lower trees coming through the fog just looks great. Not sure if it was but the foreground sure looks like it has a light coating of frost and that looks great adding a wonderful touch to this scene. Very nice!

Gorgeous Eva. As pretty as the mountains are, I'm so attracted to the FG as well. I might consider increasing the contrast a bit on the mountains as the shadows look a bit too open.

Eva, the foreground is really nice. My suggestions would be to add some midtone contrast to the mountains and have a little less blue sky up top. Nice mix of cool and warm tones.

To each his own, but I like the amount of sky visible as it adds to the spaciousness of the scene. Strictly my choice, of course, not a criticism of Doug's choice.

Beautiful scene, Eva. I would favor a little less sky too, but pretty minor. A glorious scene.

Thanks for your input. Here is a modified version with more contrast. A cropped version did not work for me.

A very inviting scene, leading all the way to those majestic peaks. The weather conditions really played in you favor here.
I prefer your original presentation over the revised one with more contrast.
Best regards,

My preference is for the original, Eva. The increase in contrast in the repost seems to have made the cyan a little to strong. The trees peeking out of the low lying fog are some wonderful elements in the scene as is the light on the peaks. What do you think of making this more of a pano with an even greater crop down to just above the clouds?

Put me down for the original as well, Eva. The atmospheric conditions make this Tetons image unique and beautiful.

I'm in for the original also, Eva. Love the mist rising from the meadow and the subtle color shifts to the Tetons. I also really like the space up top. The low hanging clouds are money. Beautiful image.

Gorgeous scene. Not sure about added contrast - I believe I like the original version best.

Love the glow on the mountains, Eva, and that wonderful ground fog. Do prefer the repost with the increased contrast of the mountains.

I agree with the others that the original works better . I also see the logic of increasing contrast in the mountains. Maybe using an adjustment brush on the original to just increase contrast on the mountains?
