Beautiful work! I like this comp very much and love the patterns in the sand. The light is special and the softer pastel colors are wonderful.

Another fine image from this extraordinary beach, Ian. Nick's observations nicely covered what makes this so nice. I'll just add while the light and colors are soft, the details are very sharp.

Great use of diagonals and the combination of warm and cool colors are very striking, Ian.

This does have the wonderful medium large film quality to it. Lovely capture of the light and near far composition. The land on the left gives the appearance of a microscopic lean in that direction, though this may be illusory.
Nice!

Spectacular, Ian. The lines of the sand and the pastel colors in the foreground are beautiful in their own right but coupled with the amazing distant mountains and clouds and color, simply astounding.

I love how the various elements, each a thing of beauty, work so well together in this composition. The soft light is the icing on the cake.
