Gary, I have been enjoying your 'storm' series. They are all wonderful. That said, I think this one is just awesome! Not only is the drama there in spades, the tones are perfect. Simply excellent, sir!

So dramatic and other worldly, like some castle in a foreboding tale. You have really nailed it with this series of images from the storms in central Utah. Perfect black and white material, and processed masterfully.

Your B&W images never cease to amaze me, Gary. This is your usual flawless processing and the drama is just dripping from those storm clouds. I love the light on the landscape BTW.

Gary, I love to watch storms rolling in across open country and you've caught this one wonderfully with those eroded hills and that stone pillar. There's a good balance between the bright clouds up top and the bright land along the bottom. Those really set off the darkness of the clouds.

You have such a great eye for these kind of images, Gary. I like the layers of light, dark and light again. The B&W presentation is very nice and as always your processing really conveys the mood nicely.

Wonderful drama and contrast that really make for a super B&W. I happen to like this version just a little better than your previous post just because the formation is closer but both are really fine images. The larger image looks great.

As they said, another just outstanding BW Gary. I'm still partial to Phantasm, but this is very nice indeed.
