This is an old transparency but I originally scanned it on a flat bed which didn't really have the dynamic range to handle it properly.  My Nikon 9000 ED scanner which I currently use does a far better job.

Kinlochourn, Highlands, Scotland

An abandoned stone bothy with rusty red tin roof crumbles beside the little road that threads down to remote Kinlochourn, beyond the hills are drizzled in autumn gold and painted by dappled sunlight squeezing past dense clouds. It was stunningly beautiful and I was forced to snatch shots between rain showers.

What an idyllic scene Ian. Wonderful light and dramatic sky. I really like the nice curved road leading you deeper into the scene to explore.

Charming scene and beautiful colors. Glad you were able to revive this one. I've never been to Scotland but this is what it looks like in my imagination!

Remarkable. Love everything about it. Rain can work color and mood miracles sometimes.  This is one.

Beautiful, the colours pop in a realistic way.

I like this Ian. It has a lonely sort of mood. The warm, Autumn color is very inviting. I do think the greens are a little over-saturated. The light here is wonderful.
