Looking  for an interesting scene after a  winter storm  which   gave both both ice  and  snow,   especially  ice  on the trees  ..       i came upon these  Bullrushes  covered  with deep  snow.,  and  iced  trees in the  BG....  i thought  the bullrushes they  would make an interesting  foreground   to  this  fridgid winter scene  ..      comments appreciated...

Beautiful Albert!  Speaking of winter wonderland....  this is wonderful.  I must say I'm quite envious of your back yard....

Hard to be critical here, but I do have an alternate suggestion.  I think you could tighten up the comp by cropping in from the right some.  While there's nothing distracting, I think by eliminating some blank space in the LR, as well as the  sticks in the sky, the overall balance IMHO would be stronger.  But a minor suggest to be sure.

What are you going to do in the spring???? enlightened  I'll look forward to see what you find then.

Albert, I like this one very much. You certainly captured the feel of a winter snow and I love these conditions. I prefer the composition as you have it here. Just seems to have a nice flow the way it is and I wouldn't want to lose that feel with a tighter crop.

You found a nice winter scene.  The comp works for me as presented. Nice depth to the image, too.

Another fine winter image, Albert. The snow covered bullrushes make a compelling foreground and I also like the trees in the bg.

You have certainly been turning out some beautiful winter images lately, Albert. The details in the large version are a visual treat and compliment the peaceful mood perfectly. This is not necessarily a suggestion, but I would be curious to see this just a touch lighter for comparison. Either way this is nicely done.

I like how those trees in the bg look really wind swept, while the grasses in the foreground are standing up straight as if there is no wind at all. That gives the photo some nice dynamics!

Albert, you got a fine combination of rushes, shrubs, and trees with a great coating of fresh snow.  This creates a good feeling of being the first one out exploring at the end of a snow storm, which is always a time I thoroughly enjoy.

Hi Alberto,

This image does a beautiful job in conveying how freshly fallen snow feels like being out in nature, in this case, your back yard. The details look great in the larger image, and some really nice and interesting work.
