Definately worth it! I like the mix of horizontal lines of the branches and the vertical trunks. You've turned the view into a nice abstract image. Something special about the first snow of the year and I think you hae camptured that magic. My only suggestion might be to brighten the image up a little, as it looks like you might have some dynamic range to play with. Might give it that sparkle in line with the first snow wonder.

All your efforts most definitely paid off with this wonderful image, Albert. The snow-ladden branches create a visually outstanding pattern of dark and light, bisected by the stately birch tree trunks. Folks really need to click on the detai/large image to truly appreciate this excellent image. So very glad you trudged through the snow to make this extraordinary image.

What happened suddenly to all the gorgeous leaves of your previous posts, haha?? This is really sweet Albert! The snow is perfect for turning this into a very pretty abstract. Love how the vertical trunks stand out from the branches.
My verdict: definitely worth the effort, no doubt about that!

I like this a lot. Great abstract pattern. It would probably also work well in B&W. Very well done and well worth the walk.

Albert, this is a great stand of trees. It's simple and yet complex at the same time, and an interesting sort of monochromatic setting with loads of detail and the warm color of the trees. Nicely done and well worth your effort.

Definately worth the effort, Albert. Love this one. Making sense of chaos is hard to do. The large view is a must see. Very nice.

Albert,
This is really excellent. Love the graphic quality. The large version is really impressive. At least on my monitor, I would suggest brightening up the image slightly.

Definitely worth it. Abstract enough with all the snow/branches, but anchored nicely by the trees.

Yes, it was! The almost symmetric composition works in this case, I think. I also like the excellent detail on the snow covered branches, especially the three-dimensional feeling (curved) of the snow surface.

Definitely worth it IMO,Albert. The large version is a must to really enjoy all the delicate details of this woodland scene. There is something about that first snowfall that just seems to cleanse everything.

Most certainly worth the effort Albert! I love that you have filled up the frame and left nothing to doubt - All branches, trunks and all snow. No nits or suggestions. Just wonderful.
