That's weird, I uploaded a large version with 1200 px vertical, but the large version is definitely not that large.... Don't know what went wrong to be honest.

I am always fond of such abstracts. Here I like the rhythm of the curves with all the spiky little forms in between. The decreasing curvature from lower right to upper left suggests concentricity. Imho it could use it bit more contrast to show more detail. Seven curves is a very nice number. But let me first apologize for being extremely picky: the triangle in the ulc is too small compared to the others. Anyway, I like it.

Beautiful composition. Ice forms are interesting. I would have given greater contrast to the picture, but it's just a matter of personal taste.

This miniature landscape is a fascinating collection of lines and shapes, Roel. I really like the flow of this scene. My only suggestion would be the already mentioned slight boost in contrast.

I think the composition is nicely balanced. The subdued light works well, but I wonder how a slightly highr contrast would look. There's definitely a lot of detail here, so viewing the large is a good idea. I like the lines and the various shapes between them.

A fine pattern, Roel. I like the spots where you can see through as well as the icy structures that look like leaves.

The only problem I have with ice is that you only find it where it's cold, and who needs that. I like this one, Roel. I think I even like the low contrast.

Roel,
I love the lines, patterns and hints of crystalline detail. I'm gonna have to jump on the bandwagon with the contrast. And not just contrast for contast sake, but to me it seems to me that there are details just wanting to break out. Of course, I'd be willing to wager flat and diffused light, so we can't always have it all.
I love what you've found here, I think this is one that could be tweaked to make the best of a great little scene.

Very cool patterns! Put me down for more contrast. It looks kind of flat to my eye.

Hi Roel,
A sweet eye to see and capture the lines and patterns in the ice. I really enjoy the flow of the lines, and they really bring me through the image. I too would like to see a bit more punch to this image to really bring out the impact of this scene.
Sweet photography Roel
