I think the added contrast was a good move, Roel. I can certainly see why these sand patterns caught your eye, they are fascinating. The large view was a treat to explore.

Roel, the extra contrast does add some nice pop to this view. Comparing the two, the differences are subtle, but quite noticeable. These are delightful patterns.

The extra contrast works for me. Cool shapes and patterns! Very nicely done.

I just discovered this and your previous post, Roel. Both are interesting studies of texture and how light affects our perception of it. I agree that the added contrast works well on this one. In addition, I like the scale and uniformity of the patterns in this one.

The beauty and genius of a work of art may be reconceived, though its first material expression be destroyed; a vanished harmony may yet again inspire the composer; but when the last individual of a race of living beings breathes no more, another heaven and another earth must pass before such a one can be again. Roel, in comparison to the previous post this has a real nice punch to it. For me these are the type of scenes many will pass up and not see the abstract beauty in such a neat image. This one is especially nice for me all around......

HI Roel,
The tonality and contrast of this one is just awesome, and I think it would sweet on a metal print! This image reminds me of Gold hills with a metallic silver river flowing through them.
so sweet

Definitely an improvement punch-wise. I like the big diagonal between the two halves.
