This is why I love living in Scandinavia. I had just finished one four-day hike in Norway, and was driving to the next place where I'd be hiking, when I decided it was time for camp. So I parked my car along the road, hiked up to the mountains for about 1 km, and found this perfect spot for the night, with not a soul in sight. I will never grow tired of this stuff.

Two exposures blended: 20 mm, ISO 400, f/13, 30 and 60 seconds.

C&C welcome, large version is included!

Roel

Indeed, Roel - magical light, and beautifully captured!! The reflection on the stream is gorgeous. At first I though that the horizon is too close to the center, but then I considered - crop the sky? NO - crop the bottom? NO - Leave it as it is!!!devil

Beautiful colors, composition, details and reflection on the stream and stones, it's a must to see enlarge. Very nice work.

Roel, you find the best campsites.  Love the sky and the reflected light in the stream.  Great entry with the steam and an all around beautiful image.

Roel, I had not noticed that this is a blend of two images. I guess that says it all - if one can't notice then it is good!!! No HDR artifacts cool

Terrific sky here, Roel, plus it's great that you've got good reflections of the sky colors in the stream.  Well seen and processed.

Great spot, Roel.  This is what photograhy is about . . . having the light find you no matter where you go.

Yea, this is a great shot for sure. The light and tones in the water are fantastic. The only suggestion is if  you were interested is cropping a bit of the sky to give the image more of a pano ratio.

Beautiful scene, Roel. Nice natural blend of the two images. I wouldn't change a thing. The only thing missing is your tent!

Roel,

This image is rocking good bro, and the light is so sweet. The framing is spot on, and just some killer good photography!!! devil
