Sweet shot! A great comp of twilight colors and the silouette of the forest... the water reflection is what holds the eye. The reds are attractive, not harsh and hot like so many that I see. I find that putting the horizon in the center cures much of the distortion ...or at least helps. Then I sometimes shoot a couple extra frames of more sky and foreground if I have to add it. Then I can use the add'l frames to stitch and shift the horizon up or down w/o distortion. But, it is never easy and oft unsuccessful. You've done well from edge to edge.

The perfect reflection really adds to the serenity of the scene and sense of quiet. I like that a lot Roel. The subtle reds are a nice combo with the cool blues. The 50/50 comp also works very well.

This is an interesting mix of stark, warm, and cool, Roel. The centered horizon works very well at matching the sky and its reflection. The cloud formations and their reflections create a fine sense of flow coming from (or going into) the center of the image.

Excellent! Usually i don't like so deep shadows, but here the "silohuette" effect works really well. The play of tones and colours of the sky and its reflection is also very pleasurable, as the composition.

Absolutly beautiful, quiet scene. On site, we see that for only few minutes but you picture is bringing back all the emotion of the moment. Bravo!

I love this a lot. The realtiv dark part with the trees works really great as a silouette. Great reflection and amazing colors. Beautiful work

Fantastic, Roel, some might say "perfect."
Glad you didn't try and tease any detail out of the silhouette.

Hi Roel,
This image is the definition of chillaxing, and the reflections makes this image special. The blues with the hints of red were made for each other, and the this silhouettes are excellent in this capture.
The large version makes me very happy and chill
