That's a very cool solar eclipse image! Maybe this is a stupid question, but how did this circular arrangement occur? I understand that the sun makes an arch from morning to evening...

This would make a great necklace, Roel. Very nicely done, with the touches of detail in the sun.

Dietrich, a Dutch saying is that the only stupid question is the one that isn't asked! The answer is very simple, I combined them like that afterwards on the computer.... This could be done in camera, but that would be very difficult. Moreover, I had to change settings the whole time due to clouds, so that would have made it near impossible to do in camera. The sequence goes counterclockwise, otherwise the eclipsed suns would be pointing outwards, which I didn't think was very appealing. So the moon came in from the right side of the sun, and left from the left side.
The real path of the sun through the sky is the one that you can see in my previous post.

This is a beautiful "eclipse abstract" Roel, and it looks regular enough to me!!

I appreciate you sticking to your project. Sometimes that is not easy when the conditions are working against you. Well do and well processed to produce the image.
