After staying out of the x-ray room for a couple of weeks, I am no longer seeing diplopia lotus but my sight is still a little dark

Natural light, early morning heavy cloud just after a light shower. D90 300mm F4 1/100 tripod. LR4, CS5, TK glow.

Stunning and lotus alone with vertical crop would work for me also.

Oh man, oh man, oh man. Highly evocative and stunning. I don't think there is another flower with the same luminosity as the Lotus.

I love the bright glow of the lotus blossom against the dark background. The crisp details of the blossom against the muted detail of the leaves is nice also.

Wonderful spotlight on the lotus with just enough supporting lily pads. Very dramatic and compelling.

If you've been in the x-ray room for two weeks I sure hope you're not glowing like this lotus is.......
I practiced veterinary medicine for several years and we had to hold our patients down on the table during the taking of the xray so we were exposed to stray rays, so to speak. My roentgen exposure badge reading was always just below non-acceptable levels but I'm still here so I guess, for now, no harm done.

Needless to say I love the light on the lotus and the way the dark surroundings help set it off. Very nice and one of your best.!

I can't say that I've ever seen a lotus "shine" ever so brightly before Gary
Great drama with this lighting, well done!

Nice shot in extreme lighting. I would have preferred slightly softer light in an environmental shot like this as to reduce such large areas of black w/o tone and slightly softer subject. Just IMHO which seems to differ from that most of the comments.
