as i walked in some hoar frost laden trees in eastern kazakhstan in november last year, i felt eyes watching me. little did i know that picasso had influenced the lifeforms of east kazakhstan ...

thanks for looking, she's staring right back at you.

hasselblad 500c/m, 150mm lens, handheld (well, held with gloves), ilford delta 100 b&w film.

ost kamenogorsk, east kazakhstan.

Wow, the angled face on this has such clear features; those eyes are especially realistic looking! That would be creepy to suddenly come upon this face looking at you. I like your comp on this and the B&W works great for this to accentuate the features. Great find, Stuart!

That's a very neat smile. I like how you've set the tree off against a fractal like background of small branches.

Stuart, the fact that these eyes were everywhere makes this even more creepy. Not a place to go alone at dusk!

Wonderful find Stuart and definitely a Picasso influence at work here. As Mark mentioned, I too like the delicate backdrop of branches.

Well seen and well named. Excellent choice for B&W, capturing the simplicity of this.
Congrats on the WP.
