(yet another ... ) image from the ewaso ng'iro river in north-central kenya - the crocodile jaws section through sabuk. the sun had almost completely sunk and the sky was reflected on the wet rocks.

I like the silvery tones Stuart. Wonderful contrasting textures.

Stuart, your powerful composition is intriguing for me, I especially like the metallic look of th e rocks contrasted by the water.

Nice, simple abstract. Love the black and white tones here.

Looking good for a semi abstract.

I would be tempted to run a little luminance noise reduction on areas of the water that look a little grainy.

A well composed B&W abstract. Good choice of shutter speed for the water.

What a lovely visual treat this is. These is so much tension in this image and the contrast of opposing forces -- one depicted by the rock and the other by the water -- is striking. The composition provides a strong sense of mystery too which I find very appealing. And, as always your mastery over the presentation shows up in the deft handling of the technicals, especially the wide range of tones.

Very nice work, Stuart.
