Stuart, I appeciate your sensitive composition very much. A consistent b&w image and an advantageous use of the square formate in my opinion.

That is a masterful comp imo! And the conversion feels dead-on to the great qualities of Ilford film. I always used Ilford when I shot B&W film. I hope this ends up in a gallery somewhere, or at least on your wall!

Very graphic and enjoyable to look at Stuart. Excellent B&W film image. I can only imagine how wonderful a large print of this would look!

This looks really great Stuart, you're right it could be a pencil drawing. It really suits the square format and your comp is spot on. Love all the snow sticking to the trunks.

I love a good B&W and this certainly falls in that category, Stuart. The graphic repeating lines of the tres work beautifully with the falling snow.

This has a very powerful graphical element, Stuart. The tree trunks with white line of snow through the middle are the most striking element here. Excellent.

I was looking for a scene like this the other day, deeper in a spruce forest. I couldn't find it. You've presented this wonderfully.

This is a really cool image Stuart and b/w was a great choice for this scene. I like how the tree trunks are all covered in snow. You did a good job composing the scene to get some separation between the trees. Well done

Fantastic, Stuart, simply fantastic. Love those deep blacks and lines of the trees in the foreground and how the fog and diminishing contrast of the gray tones as the eye moves back, creates such a sense of depth. Hope you print this big. Superb work. Superb art.
