Extremely good, sharp image, Gary. At F5.6 you really got all in line for perfect DOF. Excellent!

Gary,
I love the dry perch, the beautiful background colors and the comp. Very appealing image.

Great DF shot, Gary- Excellent sharpness and a fine DOF on this one- Since there is a lot of fine detail on DF, maybe you could try a slightly tighter composition (with a bit less BG on the upper and left side)- A beautiiful species indeed, Fabio

Great shot, Gary. Superb sharpness, great detail and wonderful colors: the BG matches perfectly the Red Skimmer tones.

very nice Gary a lovely looking dragonfly and a nice background too. I think I would be tempted to darken the bright stem slightly and maybe crop a little off the top.

Well captured, nice to see all wings open with plenty of detail there. Excellent lighting gives an impressive layered effect and I like the background colours. Initially I thought a tighter crop would be better but this would give a square image so I'm not sure. Graham

You managed the bright light well Gary, that's one wild looking color combo on the skimmer..
Great details and BG separation. Just curious, it's water on the RT side that brings in the blue correct?
Anyway, it's kinda cool how it compliments the subject here
