i am a rock

yes, just a rock.

as a composition, this may not be the most alluring. but i am repeatedly drawn to this rock and the way light plays over it. one can also imagine ghoulish faces screaming out at one. maybe 'rockface' might be a better title because of that?

it is probably not one for the crowds ... so if you're looking at it - thanks for taking a look. let me know whether it does anything for you or not!

I like the light and textures on the rock Stuart. The interplay of the light and textures gives the rock a face which was especially pronounced in the thumbnail. Nice find.

Stuart,

This is a fascinating and engaging study. The tonal range is excellent and I really like the texture.

Now I wasn't there so I don't know the constraints, but I almost sense a vertical format...

Always enjoy your work.

Definately has an metallic look to it Stuart which looks great. As you mention the light play over it is excellent.

I like it, Stuart. The overall contrast works create to create interest. I find the LRC a bit distracting, but the lines and textures elsewhere are quite engaging.
