Nubble Light at Night

After patiently waiting for the setting sun to break through the cloud cover and bathe the lighthouse;which did not happen BTW; I decided to switch gears and try something else. This was taken 20-30 minutes after sunset. I used levels to lighten the scene just a bit as it was pretty dark when the image was taken.

Thanks for taking a look and leaving a comment.

Ed, great shot, in fact, one of the best Nubble shots I've seen. Nice dramatic sky, great reflection. I think it could use a little more processing, though. Of course, it might be my crappy monitor, but to me, the water and foreground rocks look a little noisy. Maybe a little selective noise ninja in those areas?

Very nice - a great take on this scene. I would clone or crop the edge of the pylon creeping in on the LHS.

Thanks for the comments everyone, much appreciated.
Mike - I think you may be right, the FG rocks and water still look a little noisy. I just ran noise ninja on auto because of time.
Mark - I did not notice the pole until after posting. I thought I had cropped it out when composing in the twilight.

Great light here, I love the red reflection, and this is yet another photo that shows that yes you can do very well even if the sky is cloudy.

This works really well, Ed! Wonderful light on the house and that glow in the water adds a lot to this image. Very nicely done.

Love a good lighthouse image Ed, this is great!
Like the color sat and dramatic sky, it works well.
I especially like the way the house next to it is lit-up, looks like a cars headlights approaching that are just out of view..
And the red across the water just hitting the FG rocks is magic
Happy Easter
