Hi Dave,
I like the comp. The bands of bright light on the mountains look very nice. The color of the sky is very rich and vibrant. A little bit of haloing on the left side mountain top perhaps produced from the sharpening routines and can be dealt with before printing. Well done.......................Jim

The the diagonal flow of this image, Dave. Excellent color and detail throughout. The clouds bring a certain dynamism to this. There is one yellow flower poking into the frame bottom left. Real minor, beautiful image.

Love the comp with the main sunlit mountain off center to the left drawing my eye through the image to the distant mountains and those "to die for" clouds.

Another excellent high country image. I would agree with Gary about the yellow flower on the bottom edge. Beautiful sky and general alpine scene. It was a productive backpacking season for you!

Dave,
Yet another gorgeous alpine landscape - with beautiful light and dynamic conditions. Initially I was thinking that because of the long band of light and length of some of the clouds, this might be cool looking cropping up some from the bottom for a more pano look. But then, the greens at the bottom add so much and this is quite well balanced as presented.
I especially like the open view of the distant peaks as well. Gives this image great depth.
Very little to nitpick here. I would agree with nixing the little yellow flower - but only a minor cleanup for printing. Otherwise, this looks masterful.

Looks like you came away with several wonderful images from your back packing trip, Dave. I really like the color combinations in this scene with the blue/gold in the upper half and the green/magenta in the bottom. This has a wonderful depth to it along with some great light and clouds. Keep them coming.

I like the obvious diagonal composition, very dynamic. The moving clouds emphasize it.
