To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy. -Henri Cartier-Bresson

Love this! Of course I love your California green hills and oak trees too, but this is a nice change of pace and a fun image. Great use of light, shadow and the red really makes it. Wonderful! They should sell it in the gift store there.

I really like what you did here, Lon. The red spokes really pop.. You did fine job processing this one.

Lon: this is a very imaginative and creative use of light and line. Keeping the red was a very good approach. Richard

Congrats on the WP here on this nice image, Lon. Your talent with PS made for a really neat final image overall. If you'd not mentioned the changes I'd never noticed and still do not see any tell tale items to prove otherwise. Once again, gives the flavor of those Bodie type scenes too.......

I really like the play of light and shadow in this image. It gives it a sense of mystery. I always enjoy your eye for finding interesting and unique images. It challenges me to be more attentive to everything around me.
