I like the gentle, warm light and the many layers of may colors here, Dave. The textural contrast between the midground hills and the rugged mountains in the distance look great. Our east coast winter has also been very cloudy, although not very wet, we could actually use some rain/snow.

Beautiful, Dave. I like the layers, the textures in the foreground and the hills, the beautiful warm light on the mountains, and the nice color in the sky.

Beautiful study in warm tones and layers. I would not mind a bit more room on the right, but pretty dang minor. Real sweet!

Dave: I really like the colors and the layers. The yellow grasses at the bottom add a bit of brightness that make the whole image pop. Nicely done! Richard

Gorgeous Dave! The colors are beautiful and I love the layered progression of warm to cool tones, bottom to top.
Difficult to find anything to suggest. So I'll just leave it at enjoyment. :-)

Great light and terrific layering of the various elements. I agree with Harley in wish for tad more room on the right. Other than that, this works really well. Nicely done, Dave.

Hi Dave,
I really dig the color tones in this image along with the layering as others have mentioned. I am kind of partial to the way you see color, so you have me won over most of the time because of rich colors you see and capture.
As always excellent use of color, and beautiful framing to create a very satisfying scene.

These layered West Slope images are becoming your signature, Dave. I love the light here and the glow on the middle ground hills. This is very good, wish I had images like this in my archives. Just outstanding.

Such a soothing image for winter, feels more than cold. The layers and sunset, I think, colors are terrific. I might try brightening the image as a whole slightly, as long the mnt highlights aren't blown out. Obviously you don't want to ruin the nice mood with the darker tones, so maybe not the best idea. Just think it might bring out the mid-ground areas ore so. Another fine shot from the Owens Valley.

Beautiful light in this one, Dave. I especially like the soft glow in the clouds. The layers in the foreground grasses are also a strong element in this scene.

The layers in this are so cool. I think it would be even better if there were less of that middle ground, ie the hills, but there's nothing you could about that except go to another place, and this is a really cool place. The grasses and bushes and trees in the FG really set this off, and the sky frames it nicely on top. The colors are sweet, too. Really nicely done.
