I like the mix of the greens and golds throughout. The sunstar is nicely done and not overpowering. I also like the streaks of light on the lake. I'm not bothered by the cloudless skies since there is so much interest in the rest of the frame.

Beautiful image of the backcountry, Dave. The sunburst through the trees is terrific, and the rest of the image contains excellent light and color. The exposure blend looks perfect. Nicely done.

Very nice image, Dave. The scene with fall colors is amazing. I like a lot the reflections and the light as well. To me is a little bit distracting the dark lower left corner. Maybe you could crop a little bit from the bottom. This is just a minor tweak, well done!!

Dave,
A warm and lovely alpine image. For some reason, the song, "Some Enchanted Evening" comes to mind. ;-) The light on the grasses is beautiful and the sunstar and resulting rays of light across the pond are wonderful too.
Very minor suggestion would be a slight crop from the left to eliminate the granite boulder near the left edge of the frame. A slight eye magnet for me. but then it might not be for others.
Otherwise, this is a beautiful capture of the warm light striking the landscape. Well done.

Dave, What a beautiful landscape this is. You captured it in some wonderful and inviting warm light. The sunburst looks great as does the light and shadow across the pond. The warm light on the grass and trees just makes one want to be there to enjoy this moment. Nice work!

Gorgeous work, Dave. This is one of those views that is so very relaxing that you want to take some extra time to just sit and savor the scene before you. The sun star is excellent and the light cutting across the water and into the grasses is sublime. My only suggestion; and this is just a personal preference; would be to clone out the boulder about mid way on the left edge of the frame. I am really enjoying this image.

Beautiful warm light and warm colors. I can see Lon's point about the rock, but I like the way the peak at the top works uncropped. Maybe burn down the rock or do some creative cloning? Looks like the golden coffee hour.

I really like the FG. The grasses have lots of color and texture, as do the trees and water. For me, the bare sky kind of takes away from the image. I wonder if cropping off the top by 10% or so would change that. Nice sunstar, and the sun on the grasses in the FG is sweet.
