An interpretation of a local maple forest that I have photographed on several occasions. The first hints of spring were just barely evident on this foggy, mid February day a few years ago. All the creative work was done in Photoshop CS5 using Tony Kuyper's masks, burning/dodging, a touch of blur, and other techniques.
Would appreciate your thoughts, comments, and ideas on this image.
4x5, 210mm, Provia 100F, flatbed scan.

Please take a look at the large version.

Thank you.

I like the dreamy, fantasy-like atmosphere. It gets to a point where I have a hard time separating reality from art, and I guess that is good !

A dreamy palette of green with different spring colors, shapes and designs. The bright spring greens that almost shine keep my interest. Could view for a very long time.
