Guidelines and Themes

Weekly Challenge Guidelines

  1. Weekly Challenge (WC) images must be posted in the Weekly Challenge Gallery.
  2. Images must be identified in the subject line as a specific WC image. Example; NPWC#92 - (enter brief title here).
  3. All photos must conform with the gallery guidelines the photo would normally be posted in - see Posting Guidelines.
  4. Images submitted for each NPWC may be images you have on file, or images taken specifically for the WC. All images are eligible for the weekly Editors Pick.
  5. Commentary on equipment and technique used is strongly encouraged
  6. All WC images must be posted within the time frame provided; Sunday 12:00 AM through Saturday, 11:59 EST.
  7. Do you have a suggestion for a Weekly Challenge theme? Send it to us at editor@naturephotographers.net.

Weekly Challenge #852 (08/19/18 - 08/25/18) Mirage - Submitted by Jim Erhardt. Photos that depict mirage and heat waves often seen through a telephoto lens.
