This was taken at the Stonehenge replica on the Columbia river near Biggs junction over the weekend. Thanks for looking!

This is spectacular!! The anticipation of the moon peeking around the formation and all the stars!! Yet, all the detail in the formation itself!! Can you share specs on how you created such a stunning image? Thanks for sharing!! Larry

Moon placement makes it. Exposure on the sky is perfect too. For those in the Midwest, there is another replica open to the public--Car Henge. It's in western Nebraska. http://www.carhenge.com/

Very nice. It's a shame you can see that you combined two shots though - at the horizon, just above the mountain you can still see some of the sky from the foreground exposure. If you fix that and turn the saturation (especially the greens) down a bit it will look even better. Well done.

Oooh a replica, I did not know these existed. The original Stonehenge is highly vexing as you can't get close to it. I like this Larry. Innovative composition, I like the inclusion of part of the moon peeking out behind the looming tower of rock.

Beautiful image. The moonlight is awesome and the composition looks great. Love that you can see the hills in the background. Must have been cold and windy out there. Nicely done.
