Oooh, I like this one too Mike! Good choice of shutter speed to create this silky smooth effect, 50/50 comp looks good here, and I love the tones. There seems to be some warmth in that grey sky. Lovely work.

Wonderfully balanced composition and amazing light - love the highlights in the fg sand and the sweeping dune mirroring the prow of the boat.

Mike, Great light. I like the smooth movement of the water and the clouds. The sweeping curve of the water around the boat help put this image together. The light on the boat and the position of the boat complete the composition in my opinion. Thanks for sharing this wonderful image. Larry

Beautiful image. The dunes really stand out against the stormy sky. The arc of the water and light on it is very attractive as well.

Great job here Mike. I like how the taught rope on the right adds just a little bit of tension to such a serene scene. The red rim of the boat blends nicely with the slight red in the dunes too.

Surreal is right. I'd think this was the coast of north africa without the description of place.
To my eyes, it seems a bit yellow here on the web.

Rick--
No need to eat the shorts. While there was some serious competition again this week, this photo managed to haunt me all week long.
