Brad Kargus

Just introducing myself. I am 34, from the Southern Ontario region of Canada and I do water resources engineering for a consulting company. My main photographic interest is landscapes with and without the evidence of human presence.

I had been trying to make an image with this foreground in a courtyard at the Forbidden City where the main buildings at both the north and south end were being renovated. Nothing too spectacular came out but I was able to spend some contemplative time in the shade without any other nearby tourists. I decided to get in the shot, something I forgot to do at the Great Wall (kicking myself).
