This isn't exactly a close-up, but a friend was kind enough to make this record of me out in 'my' playground. I've enjoyed being a part of this on-line community in various capacities since joining, and I'm looking forward to all the continued growth NPN makes possible.

Ice is nice, and will suffice, eh, Kent? Nice to meet you! This is a great shot!

Ice tools have certainly evolved from the Chouinard piolet, hammer, and crampons! (I still have mine-70's vintage)

Now I know how you get those great shots. (I assume you have figured out a way to carry your camera while climing, right?) Thanks for the comments as well as the photograps of you playground.
