This is a photo I took recently in the Sierras of the Milky Way. The lighted trees in the foreground are from a resort across the road from where I was standing.

This is a great star filled night sky, Kathy.  The artificial lights fit very well with the brightness of the milky way.  Being able to see the foreground is a fine addition.  The splatter of light in the llc is a bit distracting, that's probably worth cloning out.
