Loving Gannets

This week I spent some days at a breeding colony of Northern Gannets on the island of Helgoland (Germany). Of course I came home with too many shots. But then again, I had a great time. Hans, This is as good as it gets, among the best I've ever seen on NPN. Everything about sings perfection, and the larger image is a must see. You should be very proud of this.

Very nice mood to this one. Always wanted to see these birds. Perhaps someday. I might actually like to see this one slightly decentered with small amount of more space on the right.

Excellent, Hans. Among your best posted at NPN. I really like the color palette you have here and the behavior you've captured. The two heads rising out of the sea of Gannets is extraordinary.

Hans, another exceptional image. The gannets are gorgeous birds, and their interaction here is wonderful. Pperfect BG with the OOF birds.
