Mockingbird Doing Yoga

This afternoon this young Mockingbird flew down into the yard and started, what looked to be Yoga, or some sort of stretching exercises!  It was just too funny.  I got a few shots off before it flew off.  Shot with Canon 7D Mark II, Canon 300 mm 2.8 L lens on tripod and gimbal head, through the window.  Settings were f4.5, 1/750, ISO 100.  Edited lightly in Lightroom and NIK.  Cropped to 74% of original.  Comments and suggestions welcome.  I just loved the behavior of this little guy.

What a sweet shot Shirley, this is just so cute.  I love it.  Great display, looks like it was trying to get mum's attention to get some breakfast by playing the adorable card.

I like mockingbirds. They all seem to be brash free spirits. This little guy seems to be true to form. The shot through the window has flattened and darkened the light somewhat. I would play around with the WB to see if I could come up with a brighter better tint to accent the mood.

Great capture of this interesting behavior of this cute little mockingbird!  I like how this shows the soft fluffiness of the feathers on the chest and head.

Nice behavior.  Good detail.  Always good to have a sense of humor.
