Green Tree Frog

From 2013 July 2013 in Jean Lafitte NP. I can't recall what the perch is. Couldn't get closer due to the boardwalk. There's some focus falloff toward the bottom due to wide aperture, but the critter is pretty sharp and I liked the light and uncluttered BG, not always easy where I shoot among the tall grasses there in the park.

E-5 ZD 50-200 @400 35 equivalent, Manfrotto 410 geared head. ISO 100 1/25 f5.6 0.0EV

Bill: I especially like the light and comp and its sharp where it needs to be. I might crop some from the bottom to eliminate some of the OOF stem. Nice find and a fine capture. >=))>

Definitely green!  The nearly uniform color and clean background really lets the frog and especially it's eye show well.  I also like the subtle glow that the image has.  I don't see the subtle softness of the frog's rear and lower part of the stalk as a problem.

Excellent capture, Bill.  I love the green on green.  What needs to be sharp is sharp.  Nice shot.
