Illinois sunrise

A great sunrise, taken from my backyard. Unfortunately, I have no unobstructed view of the eastern sky. The truck is on I-55, which where I live runs beside old HY66.

The highway makes a fine hand-of-man foreground for a great sky. It is an every-day location done really well and works for me.

John: the rich and colored diagonal formed by the clouds is very attractive and the truck lends scale to the vastness of the scene. There's a lot of detail in the clouds that can only be appreciated when viewed large. Well seen and well done. Richard

Beautiful sunrise picture John. Might suggest lightning the foreground a wee bit to see what effect it creates. Great composition keep up the good work! Ry
