Antique Canoe

This is a hand made canoe I think made from birch wood. I found it at an antique shop in western Maine. I like the texture and the layers of colors and how uneven the wooden slats are and how the sun light shadows create a design. The wooden slats go across the inside of the canoe so either stability or a seat.

A good eye to see this.  Nicely recorded.  I like the lines and shadows.  I do wonder if including one edge of the canoe would identify it more as a canoe.  TFS.

Really nice abstract! I would have had no idea what it was, which would not matter at all. After all, it is an abstract. Love the play of lines, light and shadows. Very well done.

Norma, a good abstract as this had me scratching my head trying to figure out the canoe POV at first. Once I read your comment it became clear, but still was a neat mind bender......neat abstract view here.
