What a beautiful portrait. Excellent light, focus and placement of the elephant. Nit: On our left side of the lower trunk is a branch that draws some attention.

Great image of this Asian elephant. But, would like to know more behind the shot! Such as where, sex of the elephant ( I think male) how you managed to be as close. TFS.

Hi Jagdeep,
A very sweet looking elephant. I like the coloration on the ears and trunk. Well done.....................Jim

Another great look at this red eared elephant Jagdeep. Nice handling of the lighting to get good detail in the front with the strong backlighting.

Thanks friends !
John : Only male Asian elephant has tusks, unlike their African cousins. Actually this tusker was coming from the river and I happened to place my vehicle here in advance, but he saw me before coming.
Thanks!
