Lotus Ripples

The koi just had to come by as I got ready to shoot. I liked the effect of the ripples and it didn't affect the reflection of the lotus blossom too badly. Canon 5Diii, f5.6, 1/1600 sec, iso 640, 100-400 ISL at 400 mm, about 80% of original frame. Hope the reflection of leaves and the pond do not distract too much. I think the leaves provide a bit of an anchor for the stem and blossom. Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions for improvements.

I like this. A pleasant and relaxing study.

An absolutely gorgeous image, Ed.  I really like your decision to use just the reflection.  It made for some really wonderful lighting.  Excellent.

Beautiful image. The reflection is so clear, my first impression was that you turned it upside down.
The leaves, stem and ripple give fill out the composition very nicely.
