Scarlet Clematis

Four image stack, there were a fair number of artifacts I cloned out and BG darkened, about 80% crop.
Nikon D7200, 18-140 @ 90mm, f5.3, ISo 250, 1/800s,
This Lady Diane Clematis is the first clematis I've seen with a closed flower, rather than spread out petals.
Comments and suggestions appreciated.

Very nice lighting on the flower, Dan, and I like the muted background.  It looks like your focus stack worked very well.  Good work.

Nice work with the stacking, detail and colors Dan. I am wrestling with the composition a bit for some reason and I can't quite put my finger on it.

Dan, try moving the hue of the leaves from that muddy greenish yellow to a more yellowish green. Also, if you have let the site create the small image, there is quite often a color shift. Here the color of the flower is flat while in the large image it is quite a vibrant shade of coral, which is almost an exact complement of of a yellow green hue, but definitely more green than yellow.

Thank you all for the comments.
Ed, I played with the cropping, didn't like the right edge but when cropped the flower looked crowded, the bud on the left seemed a little intrusive, but cropping that also looked crowded and I'd have to leave more on the right. This was my compromise.
Phil, the site did the small image. In the large image the BG looks much brighter than the original on my monitor, the flower about the same. ( not calibrated)     I've never tried a color shift, but have seen it in a tutorial, I'll try it out.
