String Lake Evening

Another one from the Tetons. This time looking east near sunset over String Lake. While not a grand view like the Tetons themselves, this is one of my favorites from my trip.
Sony a6300, handheld. Don't have the techs at the moment.
Processed with TK's luminosity mask techniques.

Craig, I don't need the techs to enjoy this image :-)

What I like most is the natural feel to this serene scene, you convey the atmosphere immediately to me. I think it is just the plainness that is so convincing for me.

A very nice but moody image.  The mild pastels in the sky are attractive but the upper sky (for me) distracts from the image.  I might suggest cropping the sky to just above the pastel clouds in order to bring the viewers eyes back down to the trees.

This is an unusual image for the Teton area. I see scenes like this in British Columbia and the Alaskan panhandle. I think you've captured the atmosphere very well. It's a bit dark and cloudy but people in Seattle love this kind of weather.

Excellent, Craig. I like all the vertical lines created by the trees and reflections, and the nice color and interest in the sky and the sweeping clouds. The stillness in the water creates a serene mood.
