Beautifully done, Sandy. The trees are very expressive and the foreground is captivating. The overall color scheme works well for this subject. I would suggest cropping off 2/3 of the sky between top and the top branch. That would slightly widen the image and give the foreground a bigger role in the composition. This is a really good image IMO.

Love this image.  The muted tones and the delicate shading in the clouds are great and I like how the line of green algae almost seems like a shadow of the trees.  I too would take a little off the top.

Nice composition, Sandy, and some delicate tones.  The sky seems just right to set off those withered trees.

Excellent composition Sandy and nice elements.  I agree with Igor on the cropping suggestion.  A very pleasing image.

I look at these trees all the time and have never figured out what to do with them.  Now I know.  Nice one.

Very nice balanced composition with the two trees and the yellow/gray combo certainly makes this image feel stark. Nice work Sandy!

Sandy- the colors, contrast and comp look nice, although it seems to need a hefty CW rotation.

Doug, It's difficult with all the various lines, and very deceptive,  but the tripod was dead level.

Sandy, This is a great shot! The certainly does have a stark look / feel and that makes it very interesting to look at, Excellent work with the composition and the colors work so well for this image. A crop of some of the sky works for me too. Nice work on this!
