Mt Moran Fire Clouds

Gallery: Weekly ChallengePosted October 7, 201692 views1 comments

I took this image a few weeks ago during the Grand Teton and Yellowstone fires. I think the cloud colors were accentuated by the smoke. Processed using Lightroom CC (2015) and Photoshop CC (2015.5) along with Light Craft's LightZone. Comments and critiques welcome.

Jerry, even as my favorite part is Mt. Moran and the reflection in the river, I find the sky outstanding with the subtle oranges at the top, the fine textures in the lower parts and the glow of fading daylight along the horizon. Overall there's a fine sweep leading to the Mountain and it's reflection in the river.
