Red Heron

This Red Heron took off as we were approaching by boat, in Po river delta natural park.
In this case the eye of the bird is not visible, but we like the pose and the shape of the head / neck on the wing.
This is cropped a little, but we wanted to leave the ground visible to justify the pose.
